Novice Strategy for Double-Hand Poker
September 2nd, 2023 by Angeline

Pai Gow Poker is a current game with ancient ancestry. Built on the old Chinese tile game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the western in a fantastic game for early level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player versus the casino, not like most other poker games that gamblers bet with other gamblers. By playing against the dealer, beginner players do not have to be concerned about other, more advanced individuals winning their money.

One more Pai Gow benefit is the generally slow game pace, beginners will be able to take their time and plan without having to make hasty selections.

It’s also easier to participate in for an extended time with basically a small amount of money seeing as, to not win, both of your hands has to be under each of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is assigned 7 cards faces showing and the croupier gets 7 cards faces hidden.

One five card hand and a two card hand need to be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand has to be stronger than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be higher than the dealer’s.
